Lara Johnston
Lara has over 14 years of experience in the watersports industry. Having started out as a Dingy Instructor working for Neilson Active, she quickly realised a love of Windsurfing and progressed through her Start, Intermediate and then Advanced Windsurf Instructor roles ultimately working for one of the most prestigious windsurfing centres in the world - Club Vass. After moving back to the UK, Lara qualified as a Level 1 & Level 2 SUP instructor. In addition to these, she has her Powerboat Level 2, Safety Boat and International Certificate of Competence.
Lara has been introducing others to the waterways since 2019 and founded Wild Paddle - Berkshire in 2020. She spends her days working in sports marketing and taking guests out on the water after work. She's an action sports junkie at heart, with a keen interest in Super Cross and Jet Ski Racing.
Rosa Wynn-Jones
Rosa is her name, paddling is her game! Interior designer by day, you'll find Rosa on the waters with us on evenings and weekends. She's the joker of the group and will always find a way to end up in the water.
Gabby Coe
The smile-iest soul on the water. Gabby has worked up the Wild Paddle ranks from beginner to official instructor and is now leading sessions from all our magical spots and is a big advocate for a Wild Swim....the planned kind! Gabby is an engineer by day and Brownies leader and Wild Paddle Instructor in her spare time - this legend is such a good human! She has a dog called Rudy who has been a Wild Paddle participant on many occasions.
Tallen Christodoulou
Meet Tallen! Tallen is currently completing his BTEC in Adventurous Outdoor Activities with UKSA and is building up his hours and experience on the water ready to take his instructor's exam. He's an incredibly handy soul and knows his stuff. He's hoping to do a season abroad next year in the yachting world once he's qualified.
Lisa Kingston
Lisa is the free spirit everyone needs in their lives - you won't come across a lovelier soul. If wild swimming is your thing, you can always count on Lisa to know all the good spots in and around Berkshire. Lisa has been paddleboarding for a few years now, she is a yacht lover by nature, qualified as Day Skipper. She makes for excellent conversation along the river so be sure to quiz her on her extraordinary life of travel.
