WHERE TO MEET
WHAT TO BRING
Looking forward to our Wild Paddle! Here are a few key reminders for where we meet:
MEETING POINT Kintbury Lock (the side opposite to the Dundas Arms pub, and opposite side of the road to the platform). You won't miss us we are the ones on the grass with the paddleboards 😊! Be mindful of the train crossing which could delay you a few mins. INSTRUCTOR ON THE DAY Lara Johnston 07855 747460
WHAT TO BRING It’s a Wintery Paddle so it’s important to make sure to wear proper attire for weather conditions. We recommend: If you have a wetsuit - that will be the best attire. If not, don’t worry waterproof layers and a spare warm jumper. Spare pair of dry clothes and towel (for the way home just in case) Drinking water Trainers (good for warmth) or water shoes A waterproof bag to clip onto the board can be helpful but not essential. A Warm Bobble hat to keep your noggin warm Gloves🧤 - personal preference Most importantly...bring that smile and great attitude!
MEDICAL DECLARATION We will ask you to answer a brief questionnaire before we head out on the water but if there is anything you think we should know in advance please just drop us a note. REMINDER You must be over 18 and be able to swim to take part (swim unaided for a minimum of 50m)
WE ARE LOOKING FORWARD TO SEEING YOU AND HEADING OUT ON THE WATER!
